Creative Community
The Glad Suite Collaborative is a creative community designed to give you the space and connections you need to keep your creative outlets alive and thriving. It’s about honoring creative exploration, bouncing ideas around with fellow creatives, and finding community with people who understand where creativity can take you. It’s a space to support creatives, no matter if you call yourself a maker, an artist, a hobbyist, a dabbler, or a curious beginner.
In addition to hosting events that spark inspiration at various places around the community, The Glad Suite Collaborative has its own home base where we can gather and make messes together. I am so excited to be able to share workshops and art events with you in this dedicated creative space. The building also serves as a flexible, shared, maker’s space for those seeking to take your practice out of your home, off your dining room table, and into a space where your ideas don’t have to fight with your household systems. Or your pets (they’re sometimes a bit TOO fond of art).
Not local? This community is for everyone! I’ll be sharing highlights from our workshops, and ideas for projects and for conceptual explorations to keep your creative juices flowing no matter where you are. You’ll be able to share your art with the community and see what our explorations have sparked from other members.
Rent A Private Studio at The Glad Suite Gallery
If you are a local artist, maker, or creative who is looking for a proper studio space at a reasonable price, please visit the contact page and we can chat about whether one of three available studios is right for you! In addition to having a dedicated creative space, these studios come with an Artist Membership to The Glad Suite Collaborative. That’s a whole bonus creative community, built-in event space for collection launches, and opportunities to run workshops and display your available art within The Glad Suite Gallery with no commission charges. Spaces are large enough to share with a friend depending on your chosen media, so you can split the cost and share the benefits. I’d love to have you join this incredible space! Membership pricing is a legacy pricing offer, so your membership will stay the rate as at time of purchase for as long as your membership is active!
Starting March 3, 2024 Virtual Memberships will be $12/mo, Community Memberships will be $55/mo, and Artist Memberships will be $125/mo

Receive exclusive access to artistic prompts to help energize your creative practice, as well as tutorials for how to participate in our monthly themes from the comfort of home. Share your work with members of the community and connect with fellow creatives to see how they’ve interpreted each month’s theme. Receive members-only coupon codes and pre-sale opportunities, and a 5% discount on all items in The Glad Suite Shop!
This tier is perfect for those who want to connect with this community no matter where they are, and for those for whom participating virtually is preferred.
Community Membership
Receive all the benefits of a Virtual Membership, plus free and heavily discounted in-person events such as art workshops, community art walks, art-centric outings, kid-friendly art events, and more - plus you can bring a guest with you to workshops at a reduced rate. You’ll also receive invitations to gatherings in our collaborative space to celebrate what this community has created around each month’s artistic theme! Receive preference to rent the collaborative space for your own events.
This tier is perfect for those who want to meet fellow creatives in a casual and varied environment, and for those who want to try new artforms and methods without having to procure all of your own supplies.
Artist Membership
Receive all the benefits of a Community Membership, plus use of our collaborative space as a shared studio* to work on personal projects whenever it works for you! Take your practice out of your home & connect with fellow creatives as you work alongside each other, no studio rentals required. Utilize our communal tools and supplies. Increase revenue opportunities by teaching workshops or applying have your work featured in the Gallery w/no commission charges. Significantly reduced rates on space rentals for events.
This tier is perfect for those who are seeking a creative environment outside of their own homes to work on their artistic practice while connecting with fellow creatives, extending their audience, and participating in more creative events in the community.

This community is all about connection and honoring creative exploration and expression. All art shared through The Glad Suite Collaborative is the intellectual property of the artist who creates it. Inspiration is one thing, plagiarism is another. Members who attempt to copy the intellectual property of fellow members without collaboration or permission will be removed from the Collaborative immediately without compensation for membership time that went unused.
