Family Art Walk

RESCHEDULED DUE TO RAIN - NEW DATE FRIDAY, APRIL 5

Join us for a Nature Walk & Draw event at the Wilmington Riverfront! In this Family Art Walk, we will explore and draw the biodiversity of the wetlands from the Russell Peterson Wildlife Refuge at the base of the DuPont Environmental Education Center of Delaware Nature Society. Colored pencils will be provided for limited-palette sketching and note taking. Bring your own sketchbooks, or add a mini sketchbook to your registration. All ages welcome!

This is NOT a drop-off event. Kids will be required to be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times. Please RVSP for the number of adults and kids attending. Please note, this area goes along a boardwalk over the wetlands with differing railing conditions. All adults will be responsible for their children’s wherabouts and safety at all times during this walk. The site is accessible via elevator and is stroller friendly.

Members - FREE for Community and Artist Members*

Non-Members and Virtual Members - $10 per family*

*an additional one-time materials fee of $5 per child will give your child their own mini sketchbook to use on all of their art walks
