What can having a dedicated creative space do for you and your artistic practice? Apply here for use of a private studio at The Glad Suite for 3 months, beginning August 1, 2025!
What is included in this opportunity? If selected, you will be awarded three months of private studio usage at The Glad Suite, access to all Glad Suite Collaborative benefits during that time (including discounted workshops), and the ability to show your work at a First Friday or special event at the conclusion of the 3 month period. This opportunity is NOT limited to visual artists, and is NOT limited to media that benefits from a First Friday showing.
Who can apply? Any creative who can benefit from the use of a private, dedicated space for working! This includes visual artists, textile artists, writers, musicians, you name it! If it’s creative and you need a space to work on it, this residency opportunity is for you!
This opportunity will be awarded based on spatial need and the creative goals of the applicant for the three month period.
Wish to keep your creative space longer than three months? The resident creative will have the opportunity to extend their space usage by renting the same studio space before it is made available to the general public.
Applications are due on MONDAY, JULY 21st, 2025 at 11:59PM. The selected creative will be notified of award on July 25th, 2025, with residency beginning on August 1st, 2025.
