"Dandelion Study" - Original Painting on Hardboard Panel by Jen Hintz Eggers
A Note From The Artist: By making studies, I create a personal diary of sorts while testing out compositions and new colors. This piece informed a larger painting while holding the memories of admiring the bright colors of spring dandelions with my son.
Jen Hintz Eggers is a lifelong resident of Delaware and earned a BFA in painting at the University of Delaware in 2008. She is the founder of The Ladies’ Art House and maintains a studio practice at the Studios @ The Delaware Contemporary. Her work has been displayed locally and regionally. Currently Jen is teaching painting and drawing with the New Castle County Art Studio and Delaware Technical Community College. She lives near Wilmington with her husband, son, and cats.
